      Hi friends,

I am using “ccminer-sp-neoscrypt-1.5.79-djm34-edition” and my hashpower is only 1600 kH/s…
My os is Windows 10 x64.

      I download miner from:
      https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-sp-neoscrypt/releases/tag/1.5.79-djm34-edition
From “binaries.zip” folder i copy exe files to ccminer folder.

Than i created bat files with this:
      ccminer_cuda65.exe -a neoscrypt -q -o stratum+tcp://ftc-neo.give-me-coins.com:3336 -u Branox.1 -p x
      pause

      Than start bat file…
      ccminer picture screen

What am I doing wrong? My hashrate should be 5MH/s…

I try to start also ccminer_cuda75.exe with the same result…

      Thanks.

Download a program like MSI Afturburner and see what the GPUs are actually doing. I used it to find out I had a GPUs that had fans running but weren’t actually doing anything hashing.

What makes you think it should be 5 mh/s ?

How many Graphics Cards do you have?

also!, welcome to the forums :-)

DJM34’s CCminer hasn’t been updated for almost 2 years and not supposed to work well with the GTX 1000 series.

I use tpruvot’s CCminer and get around 1030 kh/s with a GTX 1080. Your current miner is definitly outdated.

There is a guide on how to start mining already. https://forum.feathercoin.com/topic/9345/newbie-quick-start-mining-guide

The link to the ccminer is there too.

And you are right. 5 GTX 1080 should give you around 5Mh/s.

                      I dont understand this:
“Make sure you download the correct version of either one for your Operating System, as well as the correct CUDA revision if using ccminer.”

Where I can choose my version of system?

Sorry for stupid question, but Im on total beginer with mining…

Hi Branox, on the start guide it links to the github site for feathercoin, but you can find the releases, which might be easier to install here: https://github.com/FeatherCoin/Feathercoin/releases

The correct version will be the one that corrisponds to your operating system, for isntance, if you have Windows you’ll want either the feathercoin-0.9.6.2-win64-setup.exe or feathercoin-0.9.6.2-win32-setup.exe depending on if your computer is 32 or 64 bit.

A bit further down the start guide says “Next, you need to download your mining program. For AMD based miners, nsgminer is recommended; and for NVidia systems, ccminer is recommended.”

This is whether or not you have an AMD or NVidia video card. The 5 GTX 1080 is NVidia so you’ll want the ccminer, which is linked in the guide.

CUDA has something to do with the NVidia drivers that I don’t totally understand, I’m a newbie to xD.

                        I hope this was helpful!

As for your original question, are you sure you’re not actually getting 5MH/s? In my command prompt it also says a hash rate much lower than what I’d expect, but when I check the hash rate that the node is estimating I have it’s around what I was expecting.

Hi, thank you for your answer but feathercoin-0.9.6.2… is not miner, it is wallet for FTC…
I need to setup ccminer on win10 x64…

Have you tried these miners? It’s a new release https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases

You might get better results with them. You can also look into tweaking the performance of your card

@branox Exactly and the new ccminer is linked in that post. But Branox already posted the link. Just open it and download this version.

                                  Great, that’s what I’m looking for :) . I am going to download “ccminer-x64-2.2.3-cuda9.7z”

Now one things. The pool I chose is “p2pool.neoscrypt.de” and on his site “http://46.4.0.101:19327/static/” is that:

                                  Usage:
                                  Cudaminer: ccminer -N 60 -i 19.5 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://46.4.0.101:19327 -u YOUR_FTC_PAYOUT_ADDRESS -p x

so i have to create bat file with:
                                  ccminer-x64.exe -N 60 -i 19.5 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://46.4.0.101:19327 -u YOUR_FTC_PAYOUT_ADDRESS -p x

                                  ???

Thanks for patience with me :)

and it looks like it works :). Hashpower is 4600 kH/s…

But when i look to the pool site there is that “Payout Expected” is only 0.1 FTC. So i hope that is not daily payout but only partial… :)

Thanks for keeping us updated. Your info will assist others. You need to run for a few days to build up stratum to get an idea what the payout is. That will vary with difficulty (number /power of other miners on network).

The P2Pool can vary, but at least the distributed pool can’t be hacked, like centralised Nicehash was …

@wrapper Does the p2p pool allow for you to set -d so that you can start out at a reasonable stratum?

many or the p2pool nodes provide adaptive difficulty to enable lower hashing miners to supply shares before the next block is found, while provide sufficient difficulty to hith hashrate miners, so these don’t need to transfer results too often.
Nevertheless you either can add a +0.xxx or +YYY at the end of your miner’s address to provide a factor the diff for that miner is multiplied with.
No spaces between miners address, the ‘+’ and the factor…

You also can try to set a fixed minimum difficulty by adding a /<difficulty> at the end of the miner’s address.

I didn’t try that myself as I was mining with ~150kHash and the adaptive diff was sufficient for me. I stopped mining about a year ago, as my card is outdated and electricity here in Germany is 0.30 € per kWh, so mining can’t be profitable for me anymore
