Hi, i’m completely new in mining and i would try Feathercoin mining also,
so i registered myself here. Atm i’m Mining with a HD7990 Bitcoins and with lower GPU’s i’m trying to mine Feathercoins but i have to setup a lot first.
my PC on which i’m working atm has a low gpu and freezes after few minutes. and i can’t set the intensity lower than 8 cause CGminer crashs.
Well i have ordered 3 Japalenos to start but should go a few weeks until i get those.

Hi and welcome hope you get your mining issues sorted remember Feathercoin is different for Bitcoin in that it uses the Scrypt algorithm rather than SHA256 so your cgminer will need extra parameters. Also this means ASIC will not work with Feathercoin.

Yea i started now full with mining on some PC’s it should be about 1300 k/H but i’m only getting 600 if its coming up also, i have the best settings i think there’s something with the pool wrong. Cause every morning when i look in the dashboard my Main PC with the 7990 is not active and gives 0 kHash
