Brand new to all of this and what to get into owning feathercoins

How do you buy? I have downloaded feathercoin-Qt for my Mac. Where do I go to purchase feather coin? I use Coinbase for Bitcoin.

Go to any coin exchange site like btc-e , cryto trade or some other exchange, deposit BTC, buy FTC and then transfer to your wallet. NOTE: withdrawing to your wallet will involve 0.1 FTC fees
