Hi my name is mark,

Im a law student in Holland.

Recently feathercoin got my interest…thats whats got me here.

I wanted to learn how to build the cheapest mining rig for about 300 to 400 dollars.

is that possible?

yes it is possible,
you can get like 760-770 kh from radeon 7970
or 900-950 kh/s from 2x radeon 270

you would also need:
old motherboard that has pci-e sockets (they musn’t be 16x though)
2 gb ram (old is fine)
old hdd (20 gb is fine)
old processor (CPU) (even pentium 4 is OK)
power supplier (600W would be good, shouldnt be cheapes though)

here is the page that contains mining hardware comparision (graphic cards that you can use to mine) https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison
you can check there people’s graphic card’s models and it’s hashrate ( the bigger, the better)

if you are truly interested in help, write something about things you might already have and I will try to do my best to help you :)
I’ve used my friend’s 8 years old PC to make my minning rig and it works very very well.
