Question about solo mining

Hi Guys,
I have been mining for the last few weeks in a pool. i recently decided to start solo mining.
my question is as following:
in the pool mining i saw that everyday i am earning a few coins per day in which are then moved to my wallet (per my request).
while solo mining i dont see anything going into my wallet.is this normal? would i only see coins once i find a block?
if i find a block after a few days, will i get only the 200 coins in the block or also the coins that were mined until the block was found?thanks a lot for the support.

If you do solo mining you only receive coins, if you find a block.
This may take several weeks or even month, depending on your hashrate.
The advantage of pool mining is that you get a more continous flow of coins into your wallet, while the advantage of solomining is, that you get all coins you find and don’t have to pay a pool fee.
Disadvantage of solo mining is, that you will not see any coin until you find a block
