Best pool to join?

hi im new to feathercoin, what pools out there give the best hash/s ??
i dont have the best computer so i need to find a decently producing pool

Better pools don’t give better hashrates, but you’ll definitely want a fast and stable one that doesn’t go down all the time. Time is money ;D
Hashrates are hardware dependent. The better your graphics card, the higher your hash rate.I recommend d2’s Feathercoin pool, it’s owned by one of the staff here and it would be nice to support each other within the FTC community.

I tried WeMineFTC and D2.
Far better hash rates with D2 for some reason. 4 x 280x cards undervolted to 1.075v sitting nicely at 2.9 Mh/s.
Best I could get with WeMineFTC was 2.7…

There are various factors that effect the pool earnings.
The most important I’ve found, is to attach to a local Pool. The delay in a longer pool ping can reduce your shares.
There are other factors when choosing a pool to consider > securing the long term value of your coins.
I use p2pool, you don’t register and it helps secure the coin network and it also spreads Block results quickly through the p2pool meta layer.

[/quote]yes thanks for the info, i realize you are correct im running at about 30kh/s with a lower range graphics card :( so wish me luck haha, and yes ive been using d2 and wemineftc they both are great

I currently mine on Coinotron.com not a bad site, never had an issue with auto payout, You pay a fee to payout under 20 Coins of 0.1, but anything over is fee free.
You earn per share that get accepted. I mine around the 500/520Mhz Mark (7950) and i get anything from 10/13coins within 24Hours,… I currently mine only at night when i get home, :) … Main reason keeps my living room warm … save money on not putting heatin on :)

D2 went down today when MultiPool were under attack… It’s a shame to see how many users D2 have lost over the last month, it’s a good pool.
Hope he doesn’t crack the sh!ts and give up.
