My kids have an Ipod Touch, will check it out on that after they have gone to bed if no-one else owns an IOS device.

Apple actualy makes my life difficult…
Everyday I cope flack from customers cause the iOS cable is 10x the price of the ISO android gear…
They recently updated something so all 3rd party charge/synce cables no longer work… The amount of resources that will now go to landfill is extreme… All for the product lifecycle… scum

They stuck a chip inside the new cable, but I hear there are ways around it.
I’m not a fan of closed ecosystems which is why I stay away from Apple products

Yeah… it has something to do with only accepting x amount of amperage… Buggers managed to do it with a firmware upgrade too i think.
I’ve used iOS wall packs with andriod usb to micro usb and it wont charge androids but every cable is different…
I can’t begin to understand how but i know why…

I’m fully out of the apple ecosystem but it would be nice for those who are not to have an app like this. Its a smaller group of people but were an inclusive kind of coin. :)
