So, I’m guessing the only way to get the wallet is to download it with the report page? If there was any other way, I couldn’t find it…

You can get the wallet following the links here: https://www.feathercoin.com/#dls

Just click on your operating system symbol and get the correct binary.

If you prefer to compile the wallet yourself, click on ‘Download Source’ on that page.

Greetings from Thailand, I am a buddhist monk who is very interested in the blockchain protocol rather than any monetary interest. I think the crypto currency is a world changer and would like to assist with the promotion of all forms of crypto currencey. I have no programming skills or similar to contribute but would like to assist others to understand the concepts without having to go into too much depth. I think until we get mums, grandads and young kids using this crypto system then it will always be perceived as high tech or geeks only. I would like to try to help in promoting everyday use ( will try to get my temple to accept crypto donations … my 60 year old abbot is supportive but has no understanding of the workings).

                              yours in the Dhamma

Hi Charles and welcome to the Feathercoin community.

If you have a graphics card in your PC it may be worth mining. - see this link https://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?/topic/414-guide-feathercoin-start-mining/

Mining is essentially just transaction processing for the Feathercoin network which you can paid in Feathercoin for your part.

Another way is just buying some Feathercoins from somewhere like bittylicious.com as because of the way the coins are minted (via mining) the value is deflationary and is likely to raise in the long term.

Although nothing is guaranteed my personal opinion is that because of the fantastic community we have here and the hard working development team this coin is likley to go from strength to strength.

                                          Lo all,

just noticed Ftc and the ongoing race to out beat asic’s . :)

                                          Lets hope Ftc will succeed.

                                          Cheers,

                                          Dre
