I’m having a problem with the CPU mining program. It’s most likey an end user error. I could use a little help.

I’ve downloaded and unzipped the CPU miner "pooler-cpuminer-2.2.3 for windows 64-bit systems.
I have a feathercoin wallet. It is active and set up, I think. It’s synched.

When I click on the mining program (shortcut on my desktop), the C: prompt window opens up and I see 3 lines of text

4 miner threads started, using ‘scrypt’ algorithm
HTTP request failed: couldn’t connect to host
json_rcp_call failed: retry after 30 seconds

And then it continues to retry every 30 seconds. Never connects.

Can anyone help me fix that?

Thanks in advance for any help.
