I think what we have here is a wave of the future. Anyone that knows anything about the US budget and the debt that is spiraling out of control knows that something must be done to be able to sidestep the coming carnage in the financial world as we know it.
I just read a somewhat trusted source that the pension accounts here in the US are coming under scrutiny for nationalization. Not for certain yet, but even the thought is frightening.
So, grab a few Feathercoin, start mining if you want, and get a sense of comfort knowing that something other than gold and silver should have some value. It is more difficult for someone to grab your Feathercoins than it will be for tangible assets that can easily be seen in transportation or even land, etc. Providing we make the coins secure of course.
