Hello Everyone, very basic question

Hello Everyone. Just signed on. I am excited about feathercoin and its future. I have a very basic question. I have downloaded Feathercoin, but in all the tutorials I see there is a “mining” tab to the right of the address tab. I do not have this mining tab. I have the overview tab, the send tab, the receive tab, the transactions tab, and the addresses tab and that is it. What did I do wrong? I know this is probably a basic question, so sorry about that.

Like the Bitcoin QT wallet, the Feathercoin QT wallet doesn’t have mining enabled via the GUI due to the fact that you’ll just waste CPU on a network difficulty entirely too high for CPU mining.
There’s plenty of discussions on how to mine at a pool in the Mining section of the forums. Start there.
