No blood? Sounds vegetarian to me.

Whaaa, MrWyrm said it was made outta oats and herbs and that sounded yummy, but now it just sounds like a sausage with oats and herbs :|

          I don’t like black pudding…I don’t think, I haven’t actually had it.

I suffer really bad with not being able to sleep, so after a few days I just crash… K calls them sleep days as she just leaves closes the blind, curtains, bedroom door and leaves me there for as long as I need

Wow sounds somewhere between awesome and terrible.

I like the sound of the sleep day but the not sleeping the rest of the time sounds horrendous.

Longest between sleeps was 5 days once, and that just gets painful your body starts to give up but your brain carries on!

These days I can manage 2-3 hrs a night if I’m lucky, then a sleep day comes along on the 4th night and I’m out for 12-17hrs solid

Cannot really imagine how do you manage to do that… if I have just one harder day I fall asleep whenever I stop moving. You’re pretty tough!

Just the way it is man, theres nothing I can do to change it been this way for years.

I went to see a doctor about it, and all he could say was it was down to habits if I’m lucky I will grow out of it (i’m still waiting). I used to work across a lot of time zones so you get what ChrisJ calls “virtual jet lag” you are never a sleep when you should be and then you body clock gets out of sync and the cycle starts again.

                                Just been watching fight club.

Great film but the reality sounds tough!

Kinda makes sense… I’ve had that “virtual jet lag” during the earthquake in Jp (2011) as I was in Italy that time and my loved one was here… I was living with the switch always on, so I know what you mean. But doing that in a loop is something I will never be able to do, I suppose.

                                      Just thought of something else…

Staffordshire Oatcakes I was first introduced to these when I started work at 16, we had a customer site up that way and every time we did a site visit the boss used to treat us to them for breakfast :)

Filled with bacon or sausage and cheese, perfect for any breakfast. My local Tesco used to sell them and they where a Sunday morning treat, but alas they no longer stock them :(

Maybe this week I’ll take a drive up there and get some

This thread is making me very hungry.

My favourite breakfast which I actually make at all times of the day depending on my mood and time availability:

                                        Bacon + Eggs + Toast

                                        Here’s the trick though:

                                        1. Fry up bacon [thinly sliced, not Canadian] in pan until ready, set aside to drain. Leave bacon grease in hot pan.

                                        2. Whip three or four eggs in a bowl. Add a dash of Hungarian paprika, black pepper, salt. If you have it, throw a bit of chili paste in. You can also add some shredded cheese - sharp cheddar and/or something gooey like mozarella. Not a lot though, just a bit.

                                        3. Dice up half a small onion. Throw into the pan and fry until transluscent. You can also include some diced green/red pepper if you like.

                                        4. Dump in the eggs. And cook until ready.

                                        5. As the eggs are getting close to being done, the toast should be popping out.

                                        6. Dash a bit of maple syrup on the bacon [just a tiny bit].

                                        7. Butter your toast.

                                        8. Enjoy future heart failure.

The trick is to cook the eggs in the bacon grease. It adds the flavour of a thousand Gods.

I really like this on cold winter days before going out for a long hike/snowshoeing. Be aware though that if you eat this too often you’ll find yourself wearing a lot more flannel, growing in your facial hair, and sizing up trees to cut down.
