HELP! Can't access forum links!

Hi, I’m a noob to these forums and I am trying to follow a link to a guide on cutting ribbon risers here: http://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php/topic,685 yet everytime I click it just takes me to the forum Home page. After getting fustrated I manually went thread by thread to find it and eventually did! However at the end the OP pasted a link to where the actual info I need is (here within FTC forums). So how come I can not follow a link from an external site OR a link posted here by a member of here linking to a post here??? All links lead to front page. But if I ask the question that the info within the link contains SR Members will yell in all caps “USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION BEFORE YOU ASK”. What’s up with that?

Hi much_hustle first of all welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear your having issues getting access to that thread I remember reading it when it was first posted and its very helpful.
I wouldn’t be too worried about senior members around here as the whole point of this forum is to help each other out. I know what you mean as I’ve been on a few forums and been treated pretty badly but luckily that’s not how it is round here :)
I’m not sure why your having that issue? Are you accessing it via a PC or mobile? Go e someone can help.

Edit: I’ve just tried the link and the same thing happened to me. It may be related to the fact we moved to using different forum software a few months back.
