svennand, can I add you to the list of resources (the team list been worked on). What can we use you for.

Kris, did you want to change your title… I’ve put you down as Merchant Development but if you can code maybe we put you down as General Development?

This team page is the first step in what I will try do. Give me a shot, and I’ll get a run down of everyone on the team, and ill put something together which will help with workload balance etc.

I’m in favour of a board in control of multi Sig wallets voted in by the community (with veto powers to Bush if needs be). I’d even pay annually to be a part of the community.

Definetly something I want setup… It’s been talked about as a bounty pool etc. I’ve seen it been talked about enough that ill add it to the to do list and we can start organising that.

Thanks. Am I correct in saying that the multi-sig technology is already there, it’s just a case of organising it? If we get this right we may be able to attract more developers with the bounties and it should add a layer of trust.

I’m not sure but I want to organise MultiSig if it’s not all ready in ftc, and also, we could do with 2FA in the wallet.

I’ll have a chat with Bush and see if we can get this in next.

Sorry yeah I’m happy with that title it may change as I work on different things but that’s fine.
Yes I’m a Java developer so front end enterprise web stuff with JSF and primefaces not web developer class more rich functional stuff. Then back end server side service oriented architecture. With Hessian, spring and rest services. Obviously I dabble in games now but that pretty much covers it.

Dev fund/pool sounds good to me I’d be happy to pay an annual fee to be a member of the team here that went towards bounties etc.

Yeah no problem sounds like fun. :-)

Bad news is I’m gonna be offline for a week or so after tonight. I’m off to download festival where there will be far too much drunkenness and loud music and far too few charging points for my phone. (Or the right amount of drunkenness it depends how you look at it)

So send it through and I’ll reply once I’m back on the grid.

                                  mother_of_god_Half_Life_2_Lamp-s233x249-

I tried to express this issue way back (right after JABOT) (check skype log, search for scrum kanban etc…), not a freaking soul would listen.

Theese kinda things is what pisses me off.

Not a single fuck was given that day i tried to get this hammered through, now all of a sudden it is now done, and we have put our “PR” guy to do the job? When and by who was this decision made.

Im sure we have someone not that occupied and that might have more management experience to get onboard on this?

Previously experience shows that Chris and Devs not necessary get along…

                                  1ow3j.jpg

Btw this is nothing personal against Chris, the only reason he ends up in the crosshair every time we discuss something is cause he seems to allways be the failover guy

when stuff needs doing. Which then again makes it halfass cause you can only juggle so many balls.

Regarding your point about having the idea ages ago: you don’t need to wait for permission you just set up the trello like Calem did. We did try it out before on do.com but not many people took part and I was spread too thin to be chasing people up.

To your point on me and devs not getting on: I only agreed to this because other people pushed me forward, I am more than happy to leave this for others to take on as my time is quite limited anyway.

Vizay and Calem have volunteered I don’t think anyone would object to you being part of it you have worked extremely hard for Feathercoin in the past.

I am mistaken, it was @Vizay who setup the Trello :)

Yeah, its alot better if more than one can go together and make something happen, rather than just someone running with it in an one man show.

At that point in time i didnt get any traction on it. And i didnt like Do.dom, Guess not many else did either.

Like i said, it was nothing personal. And you kinda underline my points.

Your allready spread thin as is. Which makes it an good enough reason to just say no once in a while :)

What im really curios about ATM is just what kinda resources we actually have here.

Like i said, i know Java (to some degree), but thats about it. That wont take us far.

Theres no point in coming up with ideas, creating scrums, teaming up and creating donation threads if theres actually no one that is able to do the task itself. Which seems to be the headbanging wall around here atm, alot of ideas, very few to actually be able to get it done.

And if it is done, its done by ONE person (choff bush), which then again make it take forever when one guy has to tacle an large “team” project.

Im more interessted in knowing exactly what resources Feathercoin has atm.

What skillset do people have, how much can they contribute?

An burndown chart might be as professional as possible, it still doesnt help if theres no teams behind it actually putting in the hours with it.

Just look at the feathercoin market for example, that on took FOREVER, and one of the main reasons for this is that bush had to do it all himself.

Quite an large task for one man, and by the end of it he was probably so feed up he felt feathercoin scratching his tonsils

                                        tumblr_mvqnbbm8MO1s4b8nwo1_500.jpg

I agree with you. Market have vasted potential.

I repeat my question: Do we (and by we I mean Bush) have any statistic about martet sales in month.

After so much time it takes to develop the market we should see every month statistic and set goal for next month and finaly start

pushing it. Just tweeting monthly statistic might be good way to ignite people interest.

                                        • There was enormous amount of time donated to website redesign and forum change.

I am ok with site, but this forum repel people by it hidious layout and colour (and that might be officially 3-4 time I am weeping about it)

This is a top priority and I’ve taken that on me as a first kind of AP to start inventorying just that. What I intend to do is gather a list of people willing to help out and what skills they believe they can help out with. The tricky part here is that this kind of thing have to be kept alive and updated on a regular basis. I haven’t quite figured out a good and natural way to do that yet tho.

Once we’ve got a list going with this info we can both start handing out tasks to people willing to take them, but hopefully also find new synergies that we haven’t thought about before thanks to a list like this :)

For tracking and updating, what about a simple calc sheet as a start? (replace calc sheet with any online tool doing the same)

Track user name, skill area, last project worked on, date of last contribution.

If you sort that by date of last contribution or date of last project you automatically get the active members at the top and leaving or temporary inactive members move down to the bottom over time.

New participants can be entered as they contribute to a project.

From time to time you can convert it to html and place it on the server ,so everybody in need for a resource can check who could do the job.
