      In the interest of discussion,

A famous CEO of a large company has a thing he calls the ‘toothbrush test’ when looking at acquisitions. He will apparently ask “Is this something you will use twice a day, and does it make your life better”, I think that’s a fair way to assess some thing’s value as a useful object.

So, as far as the general public, does Feathercoin currently pass the Toothbrush test, if so why? And if not, why and how soon do you think it will get there?

When the average person can quickly and easily pay their bills with ftc, we would have reached mainstream adoption.

So not yet, give it 5 years.

I see the same for btc as well - any coin that survives the period will be fine as most coins in a future where it’s standard, people will use their favourite flavour or brand of coin. It will simply be a way to show your association to an ideal or practice. Some coins will have unique purposes utilising the BC Tech.

How often do you really need to brush your teeth?
