        Far as I know that was when FTC support Scrypt algorithm vs Neoscrypt which it has been forked to now. I quote from that page:

        Super Long Life Period For 50 Scrypt Altcoins

        LTC \ Doge \ AUR \ Mint \ FTC \ TAG \ Bladecoin \ NYCoin ……

        So, this is a no go. The reason Neoscrypt was chosen is to discourage this type of mining and open it up for the “little guy” or as I understand GPU and CPU mining only for the foreseeable future.

          Uranium is right, since Feathercoin is using the Neoscrypt algorithm, it can’t be mined with ASIC based devices anymore
